Jim's War With Cancer
Donation protected
Jim Saucier (80), a Navy Veteran and former Atlanta Police Officer was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma on May 25, 2017. Jim and his wife Barbara are dedicated parents having raised three children of their own along with their adopted son Bradly (17), who is the youngest and leaving home to attend college this fall.
With only a few financial aids to help, Jim has been steadfast at work to send Bradly to college, while doing all he can to provide the basic needs for his family. Tragically, due to his illness, Jim lost his job of many years at the Island View Casino. This has put a tremendous financial burden on Jim and Barbara. Up until now, Bradly and Barbara have been Jim’s sole support. But with Bradly leaving for college soon, Barbara will be left to care for Jim all on her own. Jim faces a long road ahead with an intensive regimen of chemotherapy that will begin on Thursday, August 10. This added to the costly home treatments for physical therapy and a regular check on his vitals to make sure he doesn't develop congestive heart failure, that have been in place these past several weeks present Jim and Barbara with an immense challenge physically, emotionally, and financially.
Please donate whatever you can in order to help Jim and his family with the heavy medical expenses that are already piling up. Your generous contribution and prayers are greatly appreciated.
