MEL'S MEDICAL FUND! PLEASE HELP!
My name is Kathy & MEL is my best friend's husband. MEL recently had a stroke, has a blocked artery (needs to fly to Maui to take care of this), has seizures & is battling diabetes. MEL owns & runs a small shop in Papaikou, HI but can barely work due to medical appointments, physical therapy, pain & seizures. Many are unaware of the financial dilema that they face on a daily basis so this is my way of helping my "2nd family." It hurts to see Laurie (my bestie) cry when they can't pay their bills. It hurts to see them go thru this emotional rollercoaster that they are on. It also hurts to find out that their daughter Courtney was supposed to start college this year but decided not to attend so that she could take care of her father.
