日本クラブ安陵秀樹総料理長支援基金 Mr. Yasuoka Support Fund

去る2023年10月24日、日本クラブ総料理長であり、私たちの大切な友人である安陵秀樹氏が、通勤途中、後方からの車の接触事故により脳に重い損傷を負い、現在集中治療室にて闘病中です。

今後長引くであろう治療や、献身的に看病する小織夫人に少しでも役に立てればと、この基金を立ち上げました。

安陵氏は名門伏見工業高校ラグビー部でウィングとして活躍。

卒業後は料理人の道に邁進し、日本クラブの料理長として30年間勤務。コロナ禍では、医療従事者、警察等へお弁当を届ける「お弁当プロジェクト」を実施し、ニューヨークの地域社会に多大な貢献をされています。

On October 24, 2023, Mr. Hideki Yasuoka, the Head Chef at the The Nippon Club in New York and a dear friend to all of us, sustained severe brain injuries in a rear-end car collision while commuting. He is currently in intensive care battling his injuries.

In order to assist with the anticipated lengthy treatment and to support Mrs. Saori Yasuoka, who is dedicatedly caring for him, we have established this fund.

Mr. Yasuoka was a prominent figure, having excelled as a winger in the renowned Fushimi Technical High School rugby team. After graduation, he dedicated himself to the culinary arts and served as the Head Chef at The Nippon Club for 30 years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he initiated the "Bento Project," delivering meals to healthcare professionals, police officers, and others, making significant contributions to the local community in New York.

We kindly request your warm-hearted support for Mr. Yasuoka, and we appreciate your cooperation.

El 24 de octubre de 2023, el Sr. Hideki Yasuoka, Jefe de Cocina en el Nippon Club y un querido amigo para todos nosotros, sufrió graves lesiones cerebrales en un accidente por colisión trasversa de automóvil mientras se dirigía al trabajo en bicicleta. Actualmente se encuentra en unidad de cuidados intensivos del hospital luchando para sobrevivir sus heridas.

Con el fin de ayudar con el tratamiento prolongado anticipado y apoyar a la Sra. Saori Yasuoka, quien lo cuida dedicadamente, hemos establecido este fondo.

El Sr. Yasuoka fue una figura distenguida, habiendo sobresalido como jugador de ala en el reconocido equipo de rugby de la Escuela Técnica Fushimi. Después de graduarse, se dedicó a las artes culinarias y sirvió como Jefe de Cocina en el Nippon Club durante 30 años. Durante la pandemia de COVID-19, inició el "Proyecto Bento", entregando comidas a profesionales de la salud, oficiales de policía y otros, haciendo importantes contribuciones a la comunidad local en Nueva York.
