JJ's Medical Needs

Many of our family and friends don't know, but JJ was in the hospital late May / early June. He started to have seizures and heavy memory loss. The hospital almost let us go home from the emergency department until his CT's came back showing what they call an AVM (Arteriovenous malfunction) on the left side of his brain. We spent a week in the hospital waiting for the unknown. They performed a angiogram on him two days in and verified that the AVM had cause a brain bleed and the seizures he was having are an effect of the AVM. JJ will be undergoing radiation therapy, and he will continue to take seizure medications, he has to rest as much as possible. We were encouraged to start a GoFundMe, but those of you who genuinely know JJ and I, know that we can not openly ask for money from anyone. With JJ out of work and me taking care of our baby, we can not afford all of his medical needs anymore. We are asking for donations and prayers. More prayers than anything. JJ's treatment will be a one time radiation therapy, but his AVM will not be cleared for up to 3 years. Which means we will have more appointments and he will be on medication even longer. He will have many expensive co pays continuing to come up. Anything helps and we are grateful and blessed to have everyone support and prayers. Thank you!❤️
