F**k Cancer 5k run for Aaron Lee’s family – A Fight Worth Running For

This Go-Fund me page is for those who can’t make the event on the day but would like to still donate…or for those who would rather pay online than donate cash on the day those coming to the event can donate in the charity buckets or use this page also.

We hope to exceed this target and then some on the day!

Sunday at 12pm 6th April we’re meeting at Westport Lake to run 5K for Aaron Lee — a dad, a partner, a friend, and a fighter. Followed by a fun day.

Aaron is battling stage 4 cancer, the doctors gave him weeks to months live but he’s still here, proving them wrong every single day. He’s chose to fight this his way, naturally, with every ounce of strength he has left. But against his wishes and gave in to his family’s wishes ,he’s having medical cancer treatment now…..

The route is kid friendly running around Westport Lake and crossing only one road…His three boys are running….His amazing girlfriend is running…Also Aaron wants to run it…which is unheard of in stage 4… let’s get him round together and show him our support!

Bring your kids, I’ll be taking mine, bring your nan, bring your grandad—if you can’t run, come on your bike, in your car, or just pop down to show support.

Aaron might look rough around the edges, but trust me, he’s one of the most loving, caring, and selfless people you’ll ever meet. An incredible dad, a devoted partner, and a man who never thought life would throw this at him—who does? No life insurance, no financial safety net—just grit, love, and a family that needs help.

This 5k run we will be raising money to help support Aaron’s family and provide financial aid for their bills, rent and food as Aaron cannot work due to this battle he is facing. Please, if you can, come down to support or run and walk with us. Come put as much as you can in the donation buckets …Share this post. Do whatever you can.
