Jamiah Khatamun Nabiyeen - Madrasah

Asalaamualikum, My name is Rahela Begum and I am a student at Jamia Khatamun Nabiyeen.

I am writing to ask for your support in raising funds for our local Madrasah. As you may know, JKN has been a cornerstone of the Bradford community for many years. It has provided a safe space for worship, education, and community events for Muslims across the UK.

Over the years, our Madrasah has served as a place of solace for countless individuals and families in our community. It has provided a safe space for our children to learn about Islam, pray and do dhikr as well as ensure they develop a sense of community. It has hosted a number of regular events, including lectures, seminars, food banks and dhikhr majlis.

However, like many community organizations, our Masjid is in need of renovation. The building is aging, and there are several areas that require repair and maintenance. We want to ensure that JKN remains a safe, welcoming, and accessible space for all members of our community.

That's why I am launching this fundraising campaign to help raise the funds needed for the renovation of our Madrasah. Due to our growing number of on-site students, we would like to extend the Madrasah with the addition of a 5th floor. This would provide teaching space for more students and also allow us to cater for an even larger number of guests during community events such as the Dhikr Majlis (monthly spiritual gathering). We believe that every member of our community deserves a space that they can worship, learn, and grow.
