Caring for Carter

Hi, my name is Mike and I’m raising funds for my sisters family.

My awesome nephew Carter was enjoying fireworks on the fourth like most of us! Unfortunately one firework shot out from the side striking Carter in his chest and back. This caused his shirt to catch on fire. Carter was rushed to the hospital and received 3rd degree burns to his chest and back.

Carter required a skin graft and his recovering from his surgery. We don’t know when he’ll get to go home and hang out with his sisters (Stella, Mollie) who miss him.

He will require physical therapy as well. These funds are to help with the insurance premium and future bills for PT.

My brother in law, Trevor works full time, my sister Kelsie works part time and starts nursing school in August!

Carter is in high spirits though! He loves Mario Bros, and kicking Uncle Mike’s butt in Mario Kart! He is allergic to chocolate if you ask him but he loves Reese’s peanut butter cups? He loves going to the lake and swimming but unfortunately his summer is over.
