So, within the past 8 years my family has gone through many hardships and it started when they lost their grandfather, that initially started the downward spiral. My aunt is going on 7 years clean (we are so very proud of her for all of her accomplishments). My uncles best friend passed away recently, his best friend was like a second father figure to my cousins. Within the past year we've had to deal with some legal issues and almost faced eviction. we have to constantly worry about our neighbors and our grandmother passed away, since our grandmother passed this past Sunday we have taken custody of my handicapped aunt who has cerebral palsy. Just to cremate my grandma (as per her wishes) is $3,300 and to top it off we have two weeks to raise another $17,000 to get a new septic and well before they condemn our house. We have no running water (we have had to buy water to drink, cook with etc and have to go to the laundromat to do laundry) We have two families living together as one unit and we have 6 children all together. My cousin and I are trying to help in any way we can, and this is the one way we know that could possibly be successful. Our family desperately needs a holiday miracle. We have 2 incomes coming in but have been backed into a corner by all of this.
