Newcastle United Sierra Leone

Donation protected
Two years ago, NUFCBlog.co.uk was contacted by a football academy in Sierra Leone dedicated to Newcastle United.

We were delighted to raise over £500 for the cause back in June 2020. However, COVID-19 and limited resources have left them struggling to stay afloat.

The academy gives underprivileged children in Bo City the chance to play football at Under-12 and Under-14 levels, also aiming to provide food and a place to follow their beloved NUFC!

Sadly, many of the 50 children within their academy still struggle to get three meals per day in a West African country that continues to live in poverty, leaving them in desperate need of our support.

They hope to be officially recognised by NUFC one day - something we hope to achieve through this campaign - and dream of producing the first player in Newcastle United history to come from Sierra Leone, but this may not be possible without your help.

We are asking you to donate whatever you can - no matter how big or small - to help the academy afford the following:

  • Enough clean water
  • Food
  • Medical kits
  • Learning materials (Books, pens etc.)
  • Training kits
  • Newcastle United shirts!
  • Footballs
  • Goal posts
Please give what you can to support this brilliant academy that's close to our hearts, as you will not only be funding the health and happiness of our friends in West Africa, but helping them pursue their Newcastle United dream.

Thank you!
