Dear Friends,
We would like to introduce you to a very special little person.
This is our child.
We do not know him/her yet. We are adopting from the foster care system. What we do know is this:
He/she is up for adoption out of the foster care system because their family and extended family are not capable of providing care or have gave them away. They have had the warm and loving embrace of a mother, the joy of a piggy-back ride from a father taken away. They don’t know what it feels like to be tucked in and kissed goodnight in a bed that they know will be there tomorrow. They don’t have the security of a warm, safe and caring home. They have yet to receive a childhood that allows them to be a child and an environment where they can thrive and flourish and reach their full potential. They need a loving family the most.
Our deepest desire is to be able to give a him/her the gift of a family. Every child deserves to be loved, have a place they call home, and the feeling that no matter what, they will never be alone again. This is our passion and we want nothing more than to extend our family to a child in need.
On average, children in foster care wait two years to be adopted. Right now, there are more than 100,000 children nationwide in foster care who are waiting for a lifelong family who will surround them with love and care. Sadly, an average of 23,000 youth “age out” of the foster caresystem every year. This means that these foster youth reach the age of 18 without ever finding their forever family. These facts can seem daunting but we believe everyone can do their part to help get these children into safe and loving homes!
You can help provide this for him/her.
We cannot wait to bring him/her home, to hold them in our arms, and always provide a hand for them to hold as they grow. No words can capture the true joy and excitement we feel as we anticipate the blessing of their presence in our home.
We would like to invite you to be a part of our adoption by giving financially. When you give financially, you become emotional invested. We cannot do this on our own and You can give them a family.
This is not theoretical. This is not a faceless charity. This is us, the Andrews. You know us; this is our family.
We trust that God will provide the funds needed to complete this adoption. One way may be through people like you. With that in mind, we ask that you ask God if He would like you to give and be part of our team.
Please pray with faith that God would move mountains to bring our son/daughter home.
Formal Application Fee(due with formal application, non-refundable) $ 550
Homestudy Services Fee(due on or before home assessment interview) $ 3,500
The Homestudy Services Fee is 50% refundable if written request is received before the last home visit
Placement Fee per childdue at placement of child $ 3,000
Post Placement Supervision fee $ 3,000
