Funeral expenses

Hi, my name is Penny Boquet. Not only is Connie Madere my very close friend, we also share a granddaughter, Breanna. Connie’s family is very dear to me. Connie passed away today after several years of medical struggles, and I am reaching out for her family for assistance with laying her to rest.

Connie and I worked together for almost 7 years, for a catering company, called Sodexo, which was contracted to BP in Schriever! Connie was a very hard worker and she was the best cook! Her specialties were anything that was true authentic Cajun Cuisine, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

Connie loved her children and grandchildren. They were her world and she would talk about them every day! She would always help her family in any way she could. Her family was her life.

Connie developed COPD while we worked together. She had insurance with Sodexo at the time. During the COVID epidemic, Sodexo laid Connie off, due to the facility shutting down. Shortly after Connie caught COVID, and her health really declined from there. She was never able to return to work; therefore, she had no insurance.

Connie’s children want to give their mother a funeral service, and any donation will be greatly appreciated.

We also ask for prayers for Connie’s children and grandchildren during this difficult time. Connie was their rock, and they will greatly miss her.
