Jo Ann Eckart Memorial Fund

Jo Ann passed away peacefully Sunday, March 19th. She was surrounded with a room packed full of her kids, grandkids, and great grandchildren. She has been in the hospital since Monday night and was admitted to the ICU at Mercy hospital early Tuesday morning due to incredibly low blood pressure, besides her already existing kidney failure, congestive heart failure, and worsening fluid retention. She was on a lot of medication to keep her alive and she continued needing more and more medications to keep her body alive as well as needing significant pain management. Sunday afternoon with the advice of her doctors and her family in agreement, we switched her over to comfort care. When the blood pressure medication was stopped, she passed away within about 4 hours. She was completely at peace and is now pain free dancing The butterfly dance with her husband in heaven. We will now have the sweetest of guardian angels. I will post an update as soon as arrangements have been made.
