Help JoAnn Fight Breast Cancer

Hello, my name is JoAnn Martinez. I'm 52 years old and upon receiving ultrasound results, I was diagnosed with breast cancer two days before Christmas 2024. This was very overwhelming and hard to process especially during the holidays when I'd normally be celebrating. Once I accepted that I have cancer, I chose to view this discovery as a BLESSING, MY CHRISTMAS GIFT FROM GOD because I'm now aware of this very life threatening illness and I can focus on getting the medical treatment needed. So then I began thanking God for this gift promising not to procrastinate and not to let my fear be stronger than my faith for I know HE is with me. On January 10th, I received biopsy results confirming that I have Invasive Mammary Carcinoma Breast Cancer stage 1 and it doesn't appear to have spread to my lymph nodes at this time. Due to genetics, I've made the extremely difficult decision to have a double mastectomy and reconstruction. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover 100% therefore I'm asking for your help. It's very humbling for me to turn to others for donations but I must due to the severity and sense of urgency to remove the cancer before it progresses and spreads.
