Joan from Stretford is 100. Help tell her story
Spende geschützt
Joan is 100 in April and has lived in Stretford all her life. She has so many memories of the area, the houses she lived in, local people and businesses, notable events, and the campaigns she was involved in - against Fascism, and to get Labour candidates elected. To mark her 100th birthday, Stretford and Urmston Labour party wants to record and archive Joan's memories, and we've teamed up with Manchester photographer and documentary maker Simon Buckley to make a documentary about her life. This will be a special birthday present for Joan, and a really important piece of living history for Stretford and for the Labour movement, which will fascinate future generations and which we will treasure for years to come.
