Joan Gonyea Funeral Expenses

It is with a heavy heart that I am letting the world know that Grandma passed away suddenly this morning. She was surrounded by love and family as she gained her wings. Grandma was a fighter all the way to the end. She survived and beat brain cancer in 2010 and shortly after was diagnosed with Dementia. Although this awful disease took a toll on her memory and body she never lost her infectious smile, sense of humor, or her wonderful caring spirit. Grandma touched the lives of every person she came in contact with, and she would give all she had to make sure someone else was happy and had what they needed. I was blessed with chance to care for her and be with her until the very last moment.

While we knew this day would come, we were not fully prepared for her to leave us so soon. If you would like to help the family with funeral arrangements, we have set up this Go Fund Me. Services will be Friday November 19th, 2021. A private viewing will be from 11am -12pm. Viewing will open to the public 12pm-1pm, with a service held by Father Boks to follow immediately. 

 

I would like to thank everyone who has given advice, helped with an overnight, been a listening ear, and prayed for us along this journey. Grandma is now at peace.
