Joan M. Reno
Rollinsford, NH – Joan M. Reno, 70, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
Born in Eagle Lake, Maine, on March 23, 1950; a daughter to Leo P. and Claire M. (Lauzie) Saucier. She lived in Rollinsford for most of her life.
Joan was a big hearted woman who from the beginning put others before herself. As a child she helped her mother run a boarding house for the less fortunate. Joan enjoyed bowling, and was a long time board member for the Seacoast Bowling Association (WIBC). Joan was an avid card player, with a love for old cars, sewing, gardening, and dachshunds. She was often found watching the beautiful birds in her back yard when she wasn’t busy being a jack of all trades. Some of Joan’s favorite stories came from when she was a cook at the Ramada Inn, and doing housekeeping. As long as she was helping someone else, she was happy doing just about anything. In her lifetime My Wife held many jobs and has carried countless titles, but her favorite by far, and the one she was most proud of was Nana.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years Larry D. Reno; her daughters Madocamawanda “Ann” Reno and her significant other Scott Vollkommer of Somersworth and Dawn & James France of Concord; her sisters Edwina Plaisted of Rochester and Diane Kimball of Rochester; her brother Leo Saucier of Rochester; and grandchildren Kayla Reno, Krystal Reno, and Tyler France.
Calling hours will be held from 10 to 12 on Monday, December 7 2020, at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave, Dover, with a graveside service to follow immediately after at Newtown Cemetery, 8 Gen. Sullivan Way, Rollinsford.
