Funeral service preparation for Jo Ann King
Donation protected
I am not someone who asks for help and this is really hard for me. Please help us celebrate my mom by donating absolutely anything. Thank you for your time❤️
My mom lived her life with her heart on her sleeve and would help anyone and everyone she could. She was beautiful with a laugh that filled the room. She was a force to be reckoned with. She fought for everything she had.. everything WE had. A single mother who did everything in her power to provide.
She’s has had to fight many hard battles. Her latest battle.. she was diagnosed with Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome about a month ago. She has significant brain damage and severe cognitive and motor impairments as a result. This isn’t a battle she’ll be fighting much longer. She is tired. She has stopped eating and is refusing medication. We placed her on hospice last week and we were told to start making preparations for her transition. Knowing is knowing how much I love my mom and even though our relationship wasn’t perfect the last few years, that never changed what she meant to me. It has taken every ounce of my strength to fulfill her wishes of letting her go. With that being said I will be starting the process of arranging her funeral. I am asking my beautiful community to assist us in this time and grant us grace.
