For as long as I can remember if there was Jim, there was Joann. Since June of 1975, they have been two peas in a pod, birds of a feather, peas and carrots.....inseparable. They were mirror souls who never spent a night apart. That night, however, came Friday, October 14th. Their morning started like the 2,444 others they spent together. Jim woke at 5 for work, and Joann joined him to discuss the evening plans, which always included family and friends and good conversation. It was a short 2 hours later Joann experienced horrific head pains and was rushed by ambulance to St Mary's Hospital, Rochester. It was confirmed that Joann had suffered a brain aneurysm. There was not a moment there wasn't a loved one by her side. Unfortunately, all hope of bringing her home ended by day 5, when we made the heartbreaking decision for Joann to join loved ones who had passed before her. Joann was a beautiful spirit, we are not sure which pain is worse, the shock of what happened, or the ache for what never will. This gofundme is being set up to offset the costs of medical expenses, final cremation, and a Celebration of Life. Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
