Single mom fight to survive leukemia !!!

Witam wszystkich!

! Bardzo bym chciała prosić o pomoc dla mojej koleżanki, samotnej mamy 8 letniego chłopca. Asia zaczęła bardzo źle się czuć pod koniec sierpnia, 2023. Po licznych pobytach w szpitalu zdiagnozowano u niej ostrą białaczkę szpiku kostnego. Od razu po diagnozie zaczęła się walka z czasem, natychmiastowy pobyt w szpitalu, badania, biopsje i chemioterapia. Na szczęście lekarze prowadzący są optymistyczni, Asia ma 49 lat, jest młoda, a terapia, którą stosują przynosi dobre rezultaty.. tylko przy tym niestety są również bolesne efekty uboczne… Asi organizm bardzo źle znosi chemioterapię, ale ona się nie poddaje, mimo nieziemskiego bólu, którego można złagodzić tylko morfiną, ona nadal walczy! Asia, nawet po usłyszeniu diagnozy, dalej chodziła do pracy- jest laborantką w szpitalu- do końca starała sama się utrzymać! Teraz, niestety już nie może, oszczędności, a jakie miała są wyczerpane, a przecież są rachunki bieżące, opłaty za mieszkanie, życie.. Asia jest zdań tylko na siebie, i tych dobrych ludzi, którzy chcą pomóc..Jej protokol leczenia to długie 4-6 tygodniowe pobyty w szpitalu, gdzie będzie miała bardzo agresywną chemioterapię, następnie krótkie 3-4 dniowe pobyty w domu, i kolejny szpital.. Bardzo proszę z całego serca o pomoc dla Asi, za każdą wpłatę będę ogromnie wdzięczna!

I would like to humbly ask everyone for a help for my friend - Joanna , a single mom to a 8 year old boy .

Joanna was feeling very bad at the end of September 2023 , after many doctor and hospital visit she got diagnosed with the worst kind of leukemia -AML

Immediately after the diagnosis she was admitted to a hospital and began aggressive therapy , because of her young age -49 doctors are very helpful .. the treatment start showing some positive effects as well as the horrible side effects . Joanna body is handling the chemotherapy badly , but even with immerse pain of which even morphine is not helping with , she continues to fight !!!!

Before her final diagnosis Joanna was working as much as she could .. but with the days off she had to take , hospital stay she run out of all her savings .

As we all know just the costs of living expenses , medical co pays , sitter etc .. can be overwhelming to a family , let alone to a single mom who is just trying to provide for her son .

ASL therapy protocol is long -2 stays at the hospital when she will be treated with chemo therapy .. each treatment 4-6 weeks , after that 3 short stays 3-4 days ..

This her doctor plan as of now … but may change depending on Joanna treatment results ..

Pls find in your hearts a companion and help Joanna with her journey, so she can concentrate on getting better and surviving this horrible AML
