In Memory of Joanne Flores

Donation protected

I’m a family friend helping organize this on behalf of her family as they process this during this difficult time. Her passing has been emotionally challenging for the Flores family.

She passed away peacefully on February 12th at 5:10am in the morning with her mother and daughter by her side.

She was so strong through it all.

Chenchule’ (the act of giving) in Chamoru (Guam) culture represents a support system of exchange in which families express their care and concern for each other, as well as a sense of obligation to each other while working together to help families meet their needs. Chenchule’ can come in the form of monetary gifts, contribution of food or supplies, or acts of sincere labor. Joanne was deeply rooted in exercising chenchule’ to support friends, family, and complete strangers.

We ask you to share in that spirit of chenchule’ and donate to her memorial service, if you are able.
