Hello everyone,

This is abit of a hard ask but I wouldn’t be asking unless I was desperate

As you all know, I lost my auntie Jo a couple of weeks ago and it’s been nothing but stress. Jo didn’t have funeral cover, insurance, savings and the last and only bit off money she had to her name, was stolen from her account the morning after she died (yes, police are involved) along with two very expensive rings and the rest of her belongings. It's very complicated and not a quick resolution currently.

As a family, we went to the funeral home and was hit with a 3.5k bill to lay her to rest and that was the cheapest option we had. Unless we go without a funeral at all and that’s going to cost 2k.

For me going without a funeral is out of the question.

It breaks me to even think she can’t have a proper send off with the people who love her. We have been scratching our heads thinking how we are going to raise funds quick, and we have come to the realisation that we have to ask for help. I wish I wasn’t writing this at all, if only she could be back with us all, happy and healthy.

Unfortunately we are too late for that, but we are not too late to give Jo a final send off she deserves

So if anyone could please help us with anything, we would be forever in your debt☹️

Please don’t feel bad if you can’t, but we just need a bit of help from our family and friends and anyone who knew Jo.
