Joanne Prescott's 24 yr Breast Cancer Battle

My Mom Joanne Prescott
A hard working creative and soulful piano and voice teacher is in the final chapter of life and needs your help.
My Mom taught piano out of our home for 50 years. It was her desired plan to have the flexibility to be home raising her kids yet still pursue her professional goals and career, it was a perfect match for her!
The last 24 years she conquered breast cancer via holistic and unique methods of nutrition, diet and lifestyle choices. If you know my Mom she is an "Independent Cusp" and does it her way!
She fought hard, but the end of life is upon her as the cancer has metastasized. We started this Go Fund Me page to raise funds to help offset her health bills and needed care and comfort. Mom started on Hospice this weekend and requires 24/7 care. She remains at home as has always been her wish.
2 weeks ago Donna and I spent a lot of time with her, reminiscing about life. She even broke out the proverbial "Mom's box" with tooth fairy letters, 1st haircuts, proms and graduations. It brought back amazing stories and memories. We thank God for that time with Mom.
We found this photo - it's our favorite from July 1969 on my Grandfather's boat called "This Day"
Here's what I wrote to her last week as a tribute:
July 1969 on This Day - Joanne Prescott, Robbie and Nana
Mom - this photo embodies who you are and the admiration I have for you:
*Optimism in your eyes.

*Dedication in all you did for us.
*Desire to be your best.
*Work Ethic - investing in your kids, education, music career, our home and people.
*Fight - fight for what's right!
*Protection - you looked out for us and kept us safe.
*Love and Dedication no matter good times or tough challenges of life.
*you instilled in us the importance of Proper Eating, nutrition and common sense pragmatic health care
*Independent Cusp - you do it your way!
You are a roll model for us Mom, till the very end!
We will always be incredibly thankful for you being you!
I am also gathering photos and memories. Pls email to me directly so I can share them with my Mom as I am traveling there this week.
