Joanne Simmers - Memorial Bench

On September 22, our dear friend and colleague Joanne Simmers passed away after a long hard battle with cancer. Many will remember Joanne for her big heart, sense of humor and dedication to family, friends and community. Joanne leaves behind her husband James, and daughters Cassie (7) and Charlotte (4).

Before passing, Joanne reached out with a special request; a memorial bench at Dufferin Park. It was Joanne's wish to have a place for James, Cassie and Charlotte to visit. Cassie and Charlotte love to play at Dufferin Park and walk through daily on their way to and from school. Donations will go towards covering the cost of Joanne’s memorial bench and installation.
