Hi, we are Robin Gagne and Nina Lewin, close friends and colleagues of Joanne Walsh. On January 6th, Joanne had a terrible accident in her home. As a result, Joanne was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where she underwent surgery for traumatic injuries to 6 broken ribs.

Joanne remains hospitalized as of today, however, it is expected that she will be transferred to a rehabilitation facility for a period of time. Upon her discharge, Joanne faces a long road to recovery.

As a dedicated bar advocate who zealously represents her indigent clients, Joanne will have no income for the foreseeable future because she is unable to work. Bar advocates are paid hourly and do not earn any income when they cannot work. Joanne also faces mounting medical bills along with her normal monthly living expenses.

Won’t you please help Joanne concentrate on her recovery, rather than mounting expenses during a time of no income.
