My name is Amberly and I’ve had the pleasure of calling JoAnn my sister in law for 15 years.
Recently JoAnn returned from an amazing trip to Peru. Since she got home, she had been suffering from migraines. After a few trips to the ER, they decided to do a CT scan. This scan revealed a large mass on the right side of her brain. She was transported to another hospital immediately, placed in the ICU and scheduled for brain surgery to remove the mass.
Currently it’s still unclear wether the mass is benign or malignant and we’ll know more after the surgery which is scheduled for Tuesday.
Brain surgery is no small ordeal. JoAnn is a hard working, self employed chiropractor and she's obviously unable to work right now and she currently doesn’t have insurance. We don’t know what her recovery process will look like but she will definitely need help with living expenses while she is unable to work.
