Hi, my name is Joaquin Rafael Roces and I am running for the office of Mayor for the City of Reno NV. I am very greatful for everyone who has supported my campaign. As a third party dark horse candidate I am relying on the grassroots support of the residents of Reno NV. I do not receive any Super PAC, Corporate, DNC, or GOP funds because I want to speak truthfully and honestly about the issues facing our community. I am not a one-issue candidate as there are several complex issues facing our community. Working class, poverty, homelessness and mental health are not just talking points - they are my life. Lived experience. Raised in a working class home, I raised my sons as a working class father. As a veteran and a citizen diplomat I have a history of service. As a foreign born naturalized citizen, I know the challenges minorities face to succeed in this environment. Your support would mean a lot to bring substantial change to our city. Change is the only way we move forward.
