Donate Children's Books to Schools, Programs
Donation protected
HI! I'm Jocelyn (author, teacher, mom, wife, and dancer). To date, I have donated over 100 books to organizations in the U.S. and abroad. Help me donate MORE copies of my children’s books: "Jocelyn Learns to Dance" and "Dance in Color" to learning centers, elementary schools, and other charitable organizations/literacy-based programs.
When independent authors donate our books, we pay out of pocket for printing costs and travel/shipping. You can help!
Written and illustrated by Black women, "Jocelyn Learns to Dance" is a picture book for ages 3-8, which introduces children to ballet, tap, hip hop, modern, and jazz dance through descriptive words and illustrations. This book also encourages children to try new activities. "Dance in Color" is a coloring book with over 30 images and keywords. I’ve partnered with many organizations to provide free books, including: The MindLeaps programs in Rwanda and Uganda, Prince George's County Memorial Library System (MD), Detroit Public Library, Elda Early Learning Academy (GA), The International Association of Blacks in Dance, Brown Girls Do Ballet and more!
Visit My Website or My Instagram Page for updates about book placement. I'll be posting the schools, organizations and programs I'm able to donate to BECAUSE OF YOU!
Thank you!
