Help Jocelyn and Dorothy

Hi there, my name is Jocelyn. My mother, Dorothy was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. This is a devastating diagnosis and cruel disease with no cure. We are both working hard to find a way forward, tap into Alzheimer's and Caregiver resources in the area, and grieve this tremendous loss all at the same time.

I have no siblings, so it's just the two of us trying to navigate this the best we can.

I took unpaid leave from work to get a grasp on the situation and have been without an income for two months now. I will be unemployed and trying to move across the country from Montana to Virginia to care for my mother full time. This move will be incredibly challenging in more ways than one.

If there's any way you could help us out financially, we would greatly appreciate your generosity.

We will need, at minimum:

$2,500 for a moving truck

$500 to board my cat while we're away

$500 for gas

$1,000 for food and hotels

There's never a good time for this kind of diagnosis and life change, but this is an especially difficult time for us. Any amount you can donate will be helpful.
