Support for Jodi and her family

For those of you who know Jodi, you know that her family has already been through so much in the last few years.

In 2020, due to serious health problems for their eldest child, her family has had to move homes twice and change schools to keep their eldest child from getting sick from a serious mold allergy. Her partner Dean also has environmental allergies and has had to move offices, as well, for better interior air quality.

Now their eldest is quite ill again, and they have discovered mold in their ductwork, due to a faulty air exchanger. Once again they have had to uproot their lives and move out.

In addition to the disruption and upset for the kids and for Jodi and Dean, the financial stress of this situation is heavy. They are now having to cover the cost of temporary housing, as well as replacing their air exchanger and installing a new one with HEPA filtration, an expensive mold remediation, further mold testing and replacing all porous materials such as mattresses, couch, chairs, and many toys because they likely contain mold spores that can’t be cleaned.
