I am posting this with humbleness, gratefulness and a level of self-worth and pride that I am struggling with. By no means am I attempting to make ANYONE feel sorry for me. I believe most of you are aware of the shit show 2023 I was blessed with...boohoo! With that said, I am risking the backlash that may, or may not, ensue. Obviously, I feel it's worth the risk. My community, friends and family have been incredibly generous and kind in helping me be able to maintain my independence while I couldn't work the past 5 months. To that end, I am almost there. I am finally back to work, but still have 3 weeks until I receive a substantial enough paycheck that allows me to, once again, gain financial independence. In the interim, I am still playing " catch-up" plus gas, food, wood, medical bills, etc. Anyhoo, with fingers crossed and a roll of bubble wrap I am positive and optimistic about my future.
