Jodi Weiner Funeral and Memorial Fund

Hi, My name is Robert Doll . I have been close friends with Jodi and Vinny for 20 years .Vinny and Jodi have been through so much over the past 14 years.Vinny has dedicated his life to Jodi being total caretaker during her struggles.Vinny was determined from the start he would NEVER put her in a facility and kept his word till her last day I only live 15 minutes away from them and knowing about their situation and being so close and seeing it is much different then being told about it.Up every morning at 5:30AM showering breakfast and many doctors appointments lunch and dinner then getting her ready for bed each night In between all of this care he did laundry cooked special meals (Jodi loved to eat )When Vinny cooked he’d be on the phone making doctors appointments then try to relax and plan whatever the next day ahead was . With all of this Vinny had the challenge to try to schedule some work to pay his bills Thank god that was able to happen with a few of his aides when it could be managed.Vinny is the true meaning of “In sickness and in health” .I am so proud to have such a wonderful friend and mentor in my life .Jodi left us Sunday morning with Vinny by her side.Jodi’s wishes were not to be have services so we will be having a Celebration of Life and tribute sometime in September Further arrangements will be posted in the future .I know how much support his friends and the community have been for them but I would love to be able to take the burden off of our friend. Vinny and help with his expenses .
