Here is a letter from Jodi:
You've heard the expression that sometimes life throws you lemons? Well the O'Connor family has been under rapid fire of lemons for quite some time and could use some help.
In March of 2015 Jodi's brother was diagnosed with a cancerous neck tumor. He was getting treatments in Minnesota, he lives in Ohio, and therefore spent many weeks at a time at Tom and Jodi's.
In January of 2016 Jodi discovered that she has breast cancer. She has been actively treating the cancer and has recently decided to go to Ohio to a clinic who has numerous cancer treatments under one roof that really felt they could help. Jodi left Tom and the boys in Minnesota and went to Ohio for about 6 to 8 weeks.
Tom's dad was also diagnosed with liver and kidney cancer.
A cease fire has been called out many times as this has become overwhelming and trying on everyone. Some days we go hour by hour and others it is from one minute to the next. We know God is in total control and He will use this for His glory somehow. We stand on God's word and believe that our God who made the world also lives in each of us. By Jesus' stripes, that He received on the cross, we are healed. We stand on God's word and His promises daily asking for the strength to get through another day. We so take our health for granted.
Please hug your family a little tighter and spend some quality time together. You just never know when life will throw you a lemon.
So our request is for you to prayerfully consider donating to the O'Connor Family. Thanks for your consideration.
