Jody Farley Medical Expenses

Hi, everyone! Nearly all in the small Southwest Missouri communities of Galena, Crane, Clever or Spokane, Missouri know Jody Farley. You know his humor, his love for God and others, his generous & caring spirit. Over the years he & his wife have hosted several young students from Ecuador and been host parents to young women & men experiencing the United States for the first time. Jody had a long-time successful hot tub business. For many years, Jody sold, delivered and repaired hot tubs. Doing so he also provided job opportunities to many young men in his community. Unfortunately, Jody’s health has rapidly deteriorated over the last year. Despite many procedures, weight loss surgery, and careful monitoring of his lifestyle, Jody is in liver failure. This is impacting other organs in his body as well. He is limited in how much water he can drink and has experienced dehydration and constant hospitalization. He is now hoping to succeed in achieving a healthy weight in order to qualify for a liver transplant. As you can imagine, he has not been able to work for quite some time and will be limited in being able to work for quite a long time even after a transplant. The medical bills are more than insurance can cover but the loss of income and bills from traveling to KU Medical Center often have taken a toll and Jody & his wife could use our help. Jody has spent many years helping others and being a friend to all. Any amount you can contribute goes such a long way! Please keep Jody and our family in your prayers!
