Jody Garnett

Jody Garnett unexpectedly and tragically passed away on October 3, 2024 in a motor vehicle accident, leaving behind two children Kelsea (age 22, Manitoba) and Hayden (age 17, Greenwood). Jody's young children are understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for what goes along with such a passing.

Jody was the light of Kelsea's eyes, and always teazing her playfully. She loved her dad so much and as Kelsea comes to terms with her dad's passing, she is faced with the difficult task of arranging a final and heartfelt farewell for her dad and the overwhelming financial burden of burial expenses, property taxes, lawyers fees, and a celebration of life for her dad. In addition to these heavy expenses, Kelsea has lost wages while waiting for DNA results the past several weeks while here in Nova Scotia, and she needs financial support for her flight back to Manitoba.

I am reaching out to friends, family, and the community for support for Kelsea in honouring her dad, Jody's memory.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow Kelsea to focus on grieving and remembering Jody fondly.
