Jody Sharpe

On the 11th February 2024 we sadly lost our Mum, Jody, 43, an adored Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Niece, Cousin, Nanny & Friend. This page has been requested by so many of her friends and family, as a way for them to contribute to giving Jody the send off she would have wanted. Jody had many health struggles in her final years, having multiple strokes, on one occasion leaving her recovering in hospital in Turkey, where she had been on holiday with her children. It was then sadly discovered that Jody had kidney failure and she began receiving dialysis 3 times weekly. Jody’s battle for her health continued as she then had both legs amputated due to complications with diabetes, she was so strong and recovered amazingly, becoming stronger every day, enjoying her last Christmas with her children, and making exciting plans for the year ahead, after missing out on so much over her almost 2 years in hospital. Devastatingly Jody became unwell on 9th February, she was admitted to hospital and suffered a cardiac arrest. Jody was revived and placed into the ICU, on life support, where it was established she had suffered immense brain damage, and her family had to make the harrowing decision to withdraw care. Jody passed away, surrounded by all her children, her family, and friends, listening to music, knowing how truly loved she was. Her battle had put her body through so much that she was ready to rest, and be reunited with her loved ones already passed.
