Help with medical & house bills post heart attack

Hi my name is Jessica Keely and Jody DePew is my mother. On September 26th, 2022, my mom had a severe heart attack while walking to work. Thankfully due to a fast response by the medical staff and the excellent care she received from the team at Anderson Mercy, she is still with us today. She had two stents put into her heart and an almost 100% blockage. She had no previous heart issues, so this was a great shock to our family.

Jody was in the hospital for a few days and then off work for a few weeks to rest and recover. Due to it being close to the end of the year, she had very little paid time off left to use from her job at Kroger and was not off work long enough to receive any disability benefits. As many of us have experienced, living in the US, fortunately, gives us access to excellent medical care, but it is extremely expensive. Because of that, my mom has received costly medical bills and needs some help catching up on bills for her house as well.

Her house also has a non-functioning front porch right now. She was in the process of saving money to have her porch repaired. It was unnecessarily torn apart by a contractor when she was not home and left in pieces and in a non-usable state and has been in this way for almost two years now. This has been a huge inconvenience for her with getting into the house, is dangerous, and is a huge eyesore for her neighborhood. If anyone has any leads on anyone willing to work with her to help complete the concrete porch, please get ahold of my mom.

My mom is a wonderfully kind person who always goes out of her way to help others when they are in need and is sweet and caring to everyone she meets.
