Jody Woods Fund

Her name is Jody May Annette Woods, she was 42 yrs old and to all who knew her she was the most amazing person in the world and a best friend to those who loved her the most. She was taken away from us way to soon. Let me tell you about this wonderful woman.
Born on the 6th December 1976 to Diane, Jody was a surviving sibling to her dearly departed sister, Shelley. She spent her childhood growing up in Five Ways, Birmingham. Her mum, Diane was her best friend.
Jody lived a life that was envied by most, she travelled the globe in her early 20's making amazing friendships along the way. Whilst living in Lanzarote she was blessed with the conception of her only son Antonio and he was born in December 2004, Antonio was the apple of his mum's eye, his mothers world. Everything Jody did, she did it for her son. At the tender age of 14, Antonio's world has been shattered and he has lost the most important person in his life, his mum.
I saw her on Sunday afternoon, it was a normal day, we hugged, we talked, we laughed, we moaned but Jody was Jody, happy, content and just a little bit crazy. But Sunday 28th April 2019 was the last time I would ever have that "normal day" with Jody.
Unbeknown to Jody she had developed DVT, an illness that took her treasured life suddenly. The news has come as a massive shock to all who knew her.
Jody leaves behind her devoted mother, Diane, her beautiful son Antonio and the love of her life, her fiance, Stewart.
We know there are many families who have lost loved ones in this way, everyday. The shock, disbelief and total grief of this situation has broken the hearts of those who knew and loved Jody.
If we are willing to help others in need, surely those most deserving are the people that don't ask for it. Any donation of any amount will help to lay Jody to rest, any additional funds raised, over the target will be put into a trust fund to provide support to her mother and son, Antonio.
She was the most vibrant, woman I knew, one of the strongest woman I have ever had the pleasure being around. She had so much passion and sass for life and treasured those close to her. Her infectious laughter will forever make me smile.
Again, any donation of any amount will be gratefully received and will ensure Jody has the send off she deserves.
Gratefully received and appreciated.
Thank You xx
