Jody is FIGHTING!!!! Jody has three beautiful children that need her and a sister who loves her and needs her! Please, we implore you to make a difference for this family.
Jody was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Breast Cancer on July 2nd just two days before her mother passed away. She had a clear mammogram in March, so this was not expected and now she needs to FIGHT!!!
On January 6th, Jody had a double mastectomy direct implant surgery January 6th. From the findings during surgery I had to have a PET scan and then a biopsy of my liver.
Her newest diagnosis is Stage 4 Breast Cancer that Metastasized into the liver... She has been told this aggresive and complicated.
She is now off work through May 1st in order to complete some chemo treatments to agressively treat her lymph nodes and inject Sir Spheres into her liver. That is injecting chemo directly into the liver. The goal is to bring her to remission!!!!
From Jody: Cancer sucks, I am pissed, mad, can't believe there is more but I am hopeful, strong, and ready to continue to BATTLE!!! Please don't feel sorry for me, just pray, talk to your higher power, whatever it is you do, support, and be hopeful like we are! I have cancer but cancer does not have me!!!
My kids and sister Janna are my EVERYTHING!!! Janna has been here and dealt with so much with my mom, Arielle, me, and my kids! She's amazing! I know my Tyler is scared and worried, especially in his subconcious mind... please support him if you see him... Isaac is all of a cute 5 year old that knows his mom has cancer but is growing her hair back haha! I love my family more than anything!
Arielle should be getting into Stout Street a 2 year program for her addiction very soon! I am hopeful for her and a new recovering sober life! Please keep her in your prayers as well.
