Jody’s funeral and medical expenses

Hi everyone, my name is Travis Burnham, Jody Burnham’s son, and youngest of three kids. I am here to ask for help, and many know, it’s hard in our family to do so, darn pride. Let me tell you a little bit about my dad. Jody Burnham was 52 years old when departing from our lives. He is leaving behind his wife of over 20 years Line Thibeault, eldest daughter Ashley Mower (Thibeault), middle child Brooke Thibeault, and his youngest child Travis Burnham (myself). He also has two grandchildren, one from each daughter, Madison Thibeault daughter of Brooke, and Conner Mower, son of Ashley.

Jody had been living with a constant struggle of AFIB (atrial fibrillation) causing several heart complications, leading to congestive heart failure. In the past few years his health a slowly degraded to the point his lungs were constantly filling with fluids, causing a constant drowning sensation, but he never stopped helping his family. Even though he had constant health issues, he seemed steady and stable until the past few months where everything progressed faster than even the doctors could understand, he was tired, fighting everyday to breath just to see his kids and grandkids grow up. He left us Thursday 26th at Maine Medical Center awaiting a lung transplant, which would’ve came if he could’ve made it the next day. Due to the sudden nature of his death, we have learned his Life insurance is null in void due to a clerical error on our part. Jody’s Wife Line is currently taking on radiation treatments at the Dana Farber Cancer center in Bangor to treat her Stage Two Breast Cancer, so unfortunately she hasn’t been working for sometime, so funds have become limited for anything to proceed. We understand times are difficult these days, and many can’t help, but if they can spread the word, maybe this post can make it to people who might be able to help with even a dollar. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I wish I could explain who my father is more but words just can’t describe the amazing human this man was, and many will never understand the amount of lives he’s touched. Jody also leaves behind many amazing siblings in order, Debbie Dailey and husband Larry, Doleen Sofianos, Fred Burnham and wife Paulette, Devon Withers and husband Tim, Doris Burnham, and his twin Jess Burnham and partner Eunice. Along with countless nieces and nephews. Jody was predeceased by his parents Fred and Joan, sisters Donna Dailey, Diane Beaupre, and brother John Burnham.
