Joe and Cheryl Denton

Hello.
My friends, Joe and Cheryl Denton, recently went through a tragic event at their home. A kitchen accident involving a protein fire resulted in their entire house being filled with thick toxic smoke.
Cheryl discovered the fire before it spread. But in stopping it and rescuing their dog, she inhaled a good amount of smoke and chemicals.
She has developed a condition called chemical pneumonitis. With continued exposure, this lung condition can become chronic and life threatening.
Joe and Cheryl are working with insurance. But the depth of cleaning and restoration needed to remove the toxic and hazardous components present in the house is extensive and expensive. Most of the contents have been ruined and will have to be replaced.
Joe is a chaplain at a local hospital system, where he ministers to and comforts patients, families, and staff. Cheryl has volunteered behind the scenes, making quilts to comfort terminally ill patients and their loved ones as they go through tough times.
We want to help this compassionate and caring couple as they go through this trying time. Restoring their home will take many months, and replacing their belongings at today's inflated prices will be difficult.
We ask that you join us in supporting Joe and Cheryl through the challenges ahead with your generous donation.
