Joe and Megan…

All,

 

For those of you who don’t know, and for those of you that do, Joseph Hamamy and Mary Megan Gladbach were in a horrific car accident on Saturday, May 28th. Joey was and still is severely injured, is intubated, and in need of several more reconstructive surgeries and his holding on by a thread. Megan, on the other hand, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

 

Joey, a lifelong friend of mine and many others, searched for his whole life for a wonderful partner like Meg. Both families and countless friends are grieving, praying, and working to help in any way possible. And this is where we begin to ask you for help.

 

Nasha (their beautiful pet dog) was with them and also severely injured. She’s racked up some pretty serious medical bills all by herself.

 

Joe is in constant surgery working on his abdomen, face, and legs. We have high hopes that his physical condition will return to normal come time.

 

Meg, on the other hand, we’ve lost. A soul too good for this world and taken too soon. We never deserved her to begin with…

 

This is an unfortunate reminder to stay sober behind the wheel and to take society, friends, family, and children into consideration while operating a motor vehicle. Details on the visitation and funeral are to come.

 

All money will be transferred to either Megan’s family to help reimburse them for these unexpected expenses, and to Joe personally once he’s awake and able to handle his personal finances. Joan, Megan's Mother, will be giving an authorization for funds to be transferred to my account.
