Joe and Shelby Keas disaster relief.
Donation protected
I am Brian Beckman and the President of FOP Lodge #36 at the Washington County Sheriff's office in Blair, Nebraska.
On Friday, April 26, 2024, an F3 tornado came through Washington County, impacting residents of local communities within Washington County and Blair.
Within the path of destruction were my good friends and members of our organization, Joe and Shelby Keas. Joe and Shelby were severely impacted by this storm. Joe and Shelby's house was severely damaged, their barn/workshop was destroyed including many hand and electrical tools, and a horse had to be euthanized due to traumatic injuries sustained when the barn was destroyed.
Their house will most likely need to be rebuilt. Joe and Shelby and their 2 children have to replace most everything they owned.
Yes, I know that insurance should help, but as we all know, insurance will not take care of everything. They will have additional expenses such as removal of debris during clean up, purchasing/replacing many necessities,
collecting/preserving salvageable items, and all of this in addition to the normal living cost requirements of raising a family.
Our FOP Lodge is asking that you help out a great family and members of our extended family and community.
Thank you very much for your consideration of a donation so that this family can start the process of rebuilding, replacing and moving forward with the financial worry.
