Joe Daly Memorial Fund Raising for Simpsons 2022

Our father, the late Joe Daly (of Joe Daly Cycles Dundrum), ran an annual fundraising cycling event in aid of Simpsons Hospital in Dundrum for over 40 years. Since his passing in 2010, this annual event has been managed by us, his family with the support of Joe Daly Cycles, and local cycle club Pinergy Orwell Wheelers.

Our goal is to raise €3,000, and we are delighted to say that as Orwell Wheelers have committed to giving a generous donation of €1,500, we are well on our way to meeting our target, but we need your help.

This year we will be hosting a different event and invite you to join us in the grounds of the hospital on Sunday the 18th September '22 at noon to celebrate and acknowledge the services of Simpsons in the local community. There will be refreshments, spot prizes, music, craic, and a prize for one lucky winner of a voucher worth €300 from Joe Daly Cycles which the Joe Daly's team and the Tansey (-Daly) family are offering. There will be also be a runner up prize of a €50 voucher. To be in with a chance to win the voucher, all we ask is that you make a small donation towards the ongoing improvements of the outdoor social area at Simpson's hospital so the residents can spend valuable time with their families in the tranquil garden setting.
