As many people know, our dad Joe was hospitalized unexpectedly on November 27, 2023, with a very serious heart infection. Since then, he has undergone extensive open-heart surgery as well as numerous other surgeries to correct ongoing issues. Due to the extent of his illness, our Dad has been under sedation since his initial surgery on December 19th and continues to fight every day. This is not his first fight to survive, and as he continues to get stronger, the unfortunate expectation to pay medical bills is still a very real reality for our Dad and for our family. Any money donated will be used to help pay these exorbitant bills, as well as any possible post-hospital care he may need during his long road to recovery. Our Dad is the first person to stop and help anyone in need – most especially the people he loves. While we know he would never ask or expect people to do the same for him, we know it will bring him great relief to know he is not alone.
