Joe Fondren Family Memorial Fund

Donation protected
On Saturday, March 4th, we here at Red River Army Depot Fire Department got the awful news that one of our brothers, Joe Fondren, lost his life in a motorcycle accident. It was one phone call none of us were ready for. Joe was one of the best firefighters any of us ever shared a truck with. Heck, he was as good of a man as any of us have ever known. Joe was tough, dependable, and always stood for what he believed in. He was a decorated Marine War Veteran who would be there when you needed him, no questions asked. Not one day will go by without us missing him, and telling new guys the stories of the great man who came before them. Joe was truly a great man.

Joe leaves behind his loving wife and young children, who will now have to carry on without the leader of their family. They'll face emotional and financial hardships that none of us plan for. Joe's brothers here will make sure they are taken care of, and we're "extending the boot" so to speak, asking that you pitch in whatever you can spare for this great man's family, as they try to figure out life without the man they always counted on to guide them.
