Help Support Joe's Opera Studies in Mexico

Hi, I'm Joe Stroppel, I'm 21 years old, and I'm raising funds to help pay for a wonderful educational opportunity this summer. I'm a student at Hunter College majoring in Vocal Performance, and I've just been accepted to a Young Artists Program with the International Summer Opera Festival in Morelia, Mexico this June. It's a chance for me to study with world-class singers and teachers; in addition to performing in workshops and opera galas, I'm scheduled to sing the role of the smuggler Remendado in "Carmen."

It's a truly exciting opportunity, but also an expensive one; the festival runs three weeks, and with tuition and air travel and living expenses (and I think I have to buy a tuxedo!) it is a very costly proposition for a student.
