As many of you know, Joe has been fighting lymphoma and kidney cancer for the last 3 years. He suffered through many rounds of chemotherapy, had lymphs removed, a kidney removed, and countless other surgeries and treatments...always with an "I'll beat it attitude." He achieved remission in 2021 and we all breathed a sigh of relief. Things were looking up. Until...Summer of 2022: the cancer resurgence. Life is once again a fight for Joe now facing more chemotheraphy and a stem cell transplant that will put him out of work for months. Libby, always by his side, is taking and facing many days off of work to help him through it. He will likely be in the hospital for a couple of weeks during the holidays, then hopefully home needing 24/7 care next few months. Libby will need to be the chauffeur to his daily post-transplant appointments and maintain a completely sterile environment where he can isolate at home with a compromised immune system. Needless to say the medical bills are adding up and the income is declining as a result of his battle. I wish we all lived closer to them but the family being 4 hours away and their stubborn pride adds another complicating factor. Please help us raise the funds to remove the financial burden from the enormous amount of stress they're facing. As the saying goes, to the world you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world. Please help.
