Joe Malone's Medical Care

Hi, everyone....It's Joe Malone.   Some of you may remember me from the days when I was an active duty Marine.  I have recently been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).  I know it's quite a shock to you.  It was to me and my wife, Michele.  And I know that you are wondering how I got this disease, and how I am doing?  I wish I knew... in fact, I have a better chance of getting struck by lightening, than getting ALS...  I don't have any idea how or why I got sick, and the best answer I can give you about how I am doing.... I am angry and I am struggling.  I worry a lot about the future of  my loved ones... especially my wife and best friend, Michele.  I worry about the financial burden she is facing, how much my medical bills are going to be, and the cost of my medications, when all is said and done.  I know the bills are going to be more than we can handle .  In fact, they are already beginning to come in. 

I know what you’re thinking.  What can you do to help?  You can celebrate life, and cherish your health, your family, your friends, and the future you all have in front of you.  Please share my story with everyone you know. 

I’m completely lost in how to raise money to help us with the mounting medical bills.  Any donation that you could give - no matter how seemingly large or small – adds up and is so greatly appreciated, by Michele and me.
