Joe Marek

Hello-My name is Joey Marek. My father, Joe Marek passed on to His Heavenly Father on Friday, February 17th. My Dad was my best friend; he was my world. My Dad loved spending his time with me, and his family the most. He was an avid racing fan; his love of racing came from growing up going to Stafford Speedway, Thompson and Riverside, every week with his family. His dream of one day racing at Stafford came true last year. I'm so grateful that my Dad was able to live his life long dream, including a proud moment of finishing 12th in his very first race at the Spring Sizzler. My Dad was always kind and giving to his family, and that kindness also spread to feeding stray cats, his squirrels, and homeless people. I'm heartbroken and devastated by the unexpected loss of my Dad. I am kindly asking for any donations to give my Dad the memorial/services that he deserves, to honor his memory. Thank you to all that have been a part of my Dad's life, he had many good friends and shared lots of stories! If anyone has any special memories they'd like to share, or what my Dad may have meant to you, it would be great to hear about during this difficult time. Thank you so much.
