Joe Moreno's Memorial Services

Hello my name is Lisa and I am creating this gofundme to help my family with my brother's funeral and burial expenses.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to share the unexpected passing of Joe Martin Moreno, Jr. on Monday, May 13, 2024. He was 47 years old. Our family always called him J.R. He is survived by 2 daughters, Jordan, age 10, Jessa age, 8. His girls were the light of his life. His purpose for living. J.R. comes from a large family, and was loved by all his 10 siblings, and parents. J.R. was charming, charismatic and very giving. J.R. was always available to his friends and family, no matter what. He was a kind of person who would give the shirt off his back. Intelligent and witty, with a stunning personality, he knew how to light up a room when he walked in with a beautiful smile and a funny saying. Unfortunately, J.R. did struggle with a mental health condition. Under all his beauty, lied a condition named Bi Polar Disorder. He has struggled with this for many years and entered in and out of hospitals. This condition extremely progressed within the last few years. It was due to these conditions someone decided to take his life. J.R., under these circumstances would only listen to his father, whom he lost to cancer almost 2 years ago. On that day is when he no longer had his dad to direct him to awareness. We mourn the loss of our beloved son, brother, and father.

We are asking for donations to provide the type of services he deserves. If you could please give what ever amount you can to help us with the expenses, our family would be ever so grateful. To say that we are shocked is an understatement and unfortinatley we are not able to pay for funeral/burial services at this time. Because of the person J.R. was, and the amount of struggle endured, he dersevers a proper goodbye. To both his girls and family. We want this to be a memorable event and give everyone a chance to pay their respects the right and dignified way. All extra donations after burial expenses will go to his daughters.
